By using ShieldSignup (the website, API, and dashboard), you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of a company, you represent that you can bind that company.
The service
ShieldSignup provides signup-time risk assessments, including detection of temporary and disposable email domains, and related IP and velocity signals. We may update detection lists and scoring continuously. Verdicts are decision support for your application — you remain responsible for how you treat end users.
Accounts and keys
Keep API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your keys and for lawful use of the API (including having a valid basis to submit emails and IPs you assess). Do not attempt to probe, abuse, or reverse-engineer the service beyond normal API use.
Plans and billing
Free and paid tiers are described on the marketing site. Paid plans are billed via Stripe according to the plan you select. Soft and hard limits may apply when you exceed your monthly assessment quota.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that every temporary or disposable domain will be detected, or that every allow verdict means a signup is legitimate. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to fees you paid us in the three months before a claim.
